Super Bonding Repair Latex Champion also known as Latex Champion is a single component styrene butadiene rubber co-polymer used in mortar and concrete to increase water resistance, durability, and waterproofing. Since it is stable in damp, alkaline settings, cementitious compositions benefit from its use. The unique selling point of this product is its “Advanced C3R Formula” – Corrosion Resistant, Crack Resistant, and Concrete Repair.

Applications
- Prior to application of w-Shield SBR, all surfaces must be prepared properly to avoid failure.
- Ensure that surface is cleaned, free from dirt, soil, oil release agents, laitance and any other foreign materials which may impair the bond, penetration and / or the overall performance. This can be done by scarifying, grinding, water blasting, sand blasting, acid washing or any other approved method.
- Remove chemically any efflorescence, form oil, mould etc.
- Ensure to fill cracks / honeycombs / holes / faulty construction joints with mortar made of w-Shield SBR, cement and super fine sand and allow it to touch dry.
- Pre-wet / dampen all prepared concrete surface before application. Remove any excess of water prior to application.
